Chris Chaplin - Pro Tip
Golfers can be put into two categories. Professionals, elite amateurs and good players are in one category, and then there are rest, usually the average golfers and those who struggle.
I find as a teaching professional, the different concepts that these two groups work on are poles apart. One of the most common is that good players are always trying to shallow their swings while the rest are always talking and working on getting straighter and higher with their swings.
Your golf clubs sit at address with the shaft on an incline and not vertically straight so why would you want to change that angle through the swing and have a different angle at impact.
