As a qualified PGA Professional, I have gained a wealth of experience over the 30 years I have been chasing that little white ball around the course.
After graduating from the PGA Trainee program in 2008 I worked and taught the game of golf for 18 months before heading on tour from mid-2010, still playing events when I can. I was fortunate to have played events on multiple tours around the world, including winning on the Australasian Tour. I was also blessed to have played with some great players including major winners Geoff Ogilvy, Adam Scott, Davis LoveIII, Ben Curtis, Shane Lowry and Vijah Singh as well as many other superstars and also spend time with many great golf coaches. I am now working at Nudgee Golf Club to share some of the knowledge I learned with anyone keen for some of the tips and tricks from the tour!
Whether you are looking for simple swing ideas to work on or you want to jump into my favourite area of teaching….”on course play”, I would love to help!
Making a tough game simple is my goal and helping you to understand the body movements required to do that is key to my coaching, oh and having fun whilst we do it too!
I have video analysis and Trackman technology available for those looking for a more high-tech approach.

Over the course of my Coaching career I have developed my philosophy around what I believe to be most important. Every player’s Golf swing is like their own fingerprint, unique. Some characteristics are similar but each has their own idiosyncrasies.
When you find out what a player is capable of with their current physical condition, we begin to understand their ability to achieve certain positions or match ups in the Golf swing. By focusing on these capabilities and idiosyncrasies we are able to get the most out of the player. We learn to play golf in one place and that is the Golf Course. Many players get stuck on the range focusing heavily on technique when much of Golf is instinctive, there is a time and place to practice in bulk on the range but everyone always needs a healthy mix of playing and practice.
I use modern technology to assist my coaching such as Trackman 4 technology and CoachNow video software, which enables us to be more accurate and assess exactly what is going on within your Golf Swing. With information readily available these days, the core fundamentals in my opinion are the foundation of a good golf swing.
Any time you are ready to work on your game, so am I.
