From this Saturday the new East Course holes 2nd & 3rd will be in play. We’d hoped to open them sooner, but rain over the past few weeks meant that we’ve had to be patient.
Playing these holes means that we can say goodbye to the old 15 and 16 North. These holes struggled with the rain, but soon the machines will transform them into high-quality golf holes.
The 2 new holes will be added to the 1-9 numbered holes. This will be a great 9 holes- golfers will be playing to 8 new greens! There will be a longish walk from the 4th green to the 5th tee- members will have an opportunity to watch 11 & 15 West emerge on their right as they stroll to the 5th.
The Board would like to thank all members for their patience during the construction- how exciting is it to be playing the NEW Nudgee!
